Being continuously improved, the sampling probes from SOLED satisfy the most stringent specifications from the chemical laboratories. Samples are prepared by milling or machining one of the two surfaces for spectrometric or X-ray fluorescence analysis. Chemical analysis is performed on shavings, a piece of the cylindrical in cut-off or a piece punched out the thin section of the dual thickness sample.
Recent improvements increase the quality of the probe and facilitate the demoulding of the sample.
The addition of deoxidizing agents such as aluminium, titanium or zirconium allows the sampling in rimming steels.These probes are perfectly adapted as well to manual lances as to automatic sampling systems. The SPEMIS probes can be provided with a sleeve made of antisplash fibers for the applications where the operator must be protected during sampling.
